“Logan Water/Blind Mary is a delicate medley of two lesser known traditional Celtic folk songs from Pennsylvanian folk artist Gf Morgan. Played faithfully on traditional instruments, the artist's love for the source material really shines through on this track. Nice intimate introductory section, slowly bringing the full ensemble in to support the guitar. The mandolin does a wonderful job of making the listener aware of the transition from Logan Water into Blind Mary. Conjuring up images of the Emerald Isles, this is a transportive meditation on familiar Celtic motifs. Beautiful recording!”
